If you are interested in joining us, please go ahead and acknowledge the following key items:
- You have thoroughly read and understand all of the rules and how we play.
- You have read the entire role play from beginning to its current status.
- You intend to be active, participate, and bring flavor to the RP rather than being simply another face.
If you are able to put a mental checkmark next to those three items, then welcome to the RP! To get started, please follow the steps below:
1. If you don't already own a Livejournal blog, or if you'd like to use a new one, then go to www.livejournal.com and sign up for an account. (Don't worry, they're free.)
2. Once you have your blog made, make sure you're signed into Livejournal, and open the Role Play (linked above) and go to the page linked under the banner called 'userinfo'. Once you are there, at the top, it'll ask you if you'd like to join this community. Click Yes and join. Do the same thing for the OOC (also linked above).
3. Now that you've joined, introduce yourself. Post in the OOC first by going to Livejournal.com -> Journal -> Update. At the bottom of your update page is a pull-down box that askes you where you'll be posting to. Every time you wish to make a post, you need to change this box- either to lionkingrpg for the role play, or lionkingrpg_ooc for the OOC.
4. In the OOC, basically introduce yourself to us and re-confirm that you have completed and fit into the very first three items mentioned on this page. We will then either acknowledge you as a new member, or ask you a few questions.
5. Once you've been acknowledged, post in the OOC what characters you wish to play and include biographies on them. Look on the Characters page on how to fill out these biographies. Your characters will then be accepted into the RP once they are checked and made sure that they are suitable.
6. When steps 1-5 have been completed, you are now an official, able-to-post member!! Hurray!!! Have fun!
